Banger is a mobile application which aims to test its users on hip hop culture. We take data protection and confidentiality very seriously. We do not use your personal data without your consent for any purpose other than to provide you with a service to which you have subscribed.

The following general terms and conditions govern the use of online and mobile games and other services provided by Pierre Pellegrin, an individual domiciled at 46 rue Léon Frot, 75011 Paris, France (hereinafter, "Pierre Pellegrin", or "the publisher", "I", "my", “me”, "us", "our", “we”), using my game application, Banger, made available via Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store (hereinafter, the "Game", or "Application", or "Banger"), from my website at www.banger.dev (the "website") and any related services (hereinafter, including the Game and the Site, the "Services", or the “Platforms”).

Types of Data collected

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookies and Usage Data.

The data collected and processed are willingly supplied by you to the publisher through the Platforms by agreeing to access and use the Services from these Platforms. At a minimum, such data will include your name, profile photo, your network(s), username, the user ID numbers of your friends and/or people belonging to your network(s) and other information supplied by you to all users of the Platforms. Pierre Pellegrin shall not be held liable for the way in which Platforms act in terms of collecting, storing and processing your personal data. In addition, you are responsible for the privacy settings of your accounts on the Platforms in such a way that the publisher cannot be held liable in this regard.

Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the 2 service.

Through the use of the services, certain information gets created and logged automatically. Data collected are listed below:

• Log data. When you use Banger, our servers record data including information that your device automatically sends when you use one of the services. Including your Internet Protocol address, approximate location and time zone, the date and time of your request, operating system, language and device data. We collect the duration of your session, and some events as clicks and views.
• Device information. In addition to log data, we collect information about the device you’re playing Banger on, including type of device, settings, unique device identifiers and crash data that helps us understand when something has a problem. Different types of information are available depending on whether you’re using an iPhone or an Android phone. To learn more about what information your device makes available to us, please also check the policies of your device manufacturer.

Usage of your information

The information collected are used to provide the Service to you by showing you content that’s relevant and interesting. Then, it’s mandatory for us to use your information to:

• Identify you when you Banger and track your score and your progress. We collect score points, achievements, games, the questions you have answered and if you answer correctly to the question or not.
• Display your username and your profile picture in games.
• Recommend questions to display you to improve your user experience.

We have a legitimate interest in collecting this data. It is necessary for the user as well as for the proper functioning of the service.

Third party applications may have access to information such as:

• Amplitude. Amplitude is an analytic tool to help us understand the user's usage of Banger. Amplitude has access to cookies and usage data.
• Firebase. Firebase is a set of hosting services for any type of application. It offers to host databases, content, social authentication, notifications and services, such as a real-time communication server, in NoSQL and in real time. Firebase is a service offered by Google. Banger use this service to store the usage data needed to play to Banger.

Data storage duration

Your data is retained until you contact me by email to delete them.

What are your rights?

You are the only one who has communicated us the data in our possession, through the application. You have rights to your personal data. In accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular articles 15 to 22 of the RGPD, and after having proven your identity, you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to correct or delete them.
